About Midwest

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.

The Midwest Region is one of 41 regions in the United States Pony Clubs and is the largest by geographic area. We span all or part of eight states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

Our region is home to over 200 members of all ages who share a passion for horses and a commitment to learning, leadership, and horsemanship. We provide a wide variety of educational and competitive opportunities that help members grow both in and out of the saddle.

Visit the Pony Club website to learn more about the Pony Club educational program, national events, activities and opportunities for members.

"Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole and, once it has done so, he will have to accept that his life will be radically changed." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
